An Innovative Occlusive Film

Now, Wedgewood Pharmacy offers a line of Dermatology preparations using the innovative film-forming base, Occlusaderm™, from Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA). Occlusaderm uses natural polymers to form an adhesive, film-forming base.  Leveraging the occlusive agent, Wedgewood Pharmacy has developed a new line of medication commonly prescribed by Dermatologists. 

Occlusive dressings often are used to enhance penetration and absorption of topically applied medications. Once Occlusaderm is applied, although water soluble, it is impermeable and oil-resistant. We have formulated preparations commonly prescribed by Dermatologists:
